After receiving the jersey, Kate shared a thank you message for Chennai Super Kings on Twitter. Kate is a big fan of Chennai Super Kings. However, Kate was also disappointed as IPL 2021 was postponed due to the Covid-19 crisis.
BCCI suspended IPL 2021 with immediate effect on Tuesday after some players tested positive for Covid-19. Kolkata Knight Riders’ Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrior were the first two players to get affected by Covid-19. Later, three members of CSK support staff tested positive for Covid-19. Later, Delhi Capitals’ Amit Mishra and Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Wriddhiman Saha also contacted Covid-19.
